Stress Info
What is it?
Simply stated, stress is the physical response to a perceived threat to one’s wellbeing. The body’s reaction to a stressful thought can be helpful in a “fight or flight” situation. However, when the events of day-to-day life are causing constant stress, the load on the physical body is damaging and the immune system is compromised.
In addition, lifestyle habits like poor diet, lack of exercise, excess alcohol consumption and environmental stressors like air and water pollution add to the load.

Cheryl Roby offers a gentle three step program for clearing general stress and dealing with illness or other personal difficulty.
Step one is easing existing stress by learning new tools to quickly relieve stressful symptoms when they arise. When first beginning the process you will learn some here and now ways to destress that will serve you well in the long run.
Step two is to examine or inquire into the beliefs about life or yourself that might be causing your stress and see how a shift in perception can eliminate the source of stressful beliefs. Once a stressful thought is identified it can be questioned. The depth of questioning is entirely up to you.
